We strongly recommend travelling by public transport. The journey from Schiphol Airport to Wageningen by train and bus takes approximately 1 hour 30 minutes and runs frequently throughout the day.

2.1  By Public Transport (recommended)

Step 1 – Train: Schiphol Airport → Ede-Wageningen

Follow signs to the ‘Railway Station’ inside the airport terminal.

Buy a ticket at the yellow NS vending machines or service desk. You can also pay contactless with a debit/credit card or smartphone by tapping in and out at the yellow OV-chip poles.

Take the Intercity (IC) train in the direction of Nijmegen. Trains run every 30 minutes. Your stop is Ede-Wageningen – the 5th station.

If there is no direct service, take the IC to Utrecht Centraal, change platforms, and board a train towards Arnhem/Nijmegen to Ede-Wageningen.

Journey time: approximately 60–75 minutes. Plan your trip at ns.nl or 9292.nl.

Step 2a – Bus to Hotel Wander (city centre)

From Ede-Wageningen station, exit and take the stairs down; buses depart from the bus bays outside the main entrance.

Take Bus 86 towards Wageningen. Alight at Wageningen, Busstation. Hotel Wander is a 5-minute walk from the bus station (Lawickse Allee 9).

Journey time: approximately 20–25 minutes. Buses run every 15–30 minutes.

Step 2b – Bus to Wageningen Campus Omnia (meeting venue)

Take Bus 303 (direction: Campus/Forum) from Ede-Wageningen station. Alight at Campus/Forum. Omnia is a short walk from the stop.

Journey time from Ede-Wageningen: approximately 25 minutes.

Tip: Use the 9292 Journey Planner or NS app for live departure times and route options.

2.2  By Taxi (alternative)

A direct taxi from Schiphol Airport to Wageningen is possible but expensive (approximately €120–150 for a single ride). If you prefer this option, book in advance through a licensed taxi service.

For smaller groups, a taxi from Ede-Wageningen station to Hotel Wander or the campus costs approximately €30–37.
